This Privacy Policy explains how Riley Dack trading as SETTLECO ("Settle", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Settle app and website. By using Settle, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide — name, email, business name, ABN, and contact information.
  • Business data you enter into the app — invoices, quotes, clients, jobs, expenses, and worker details.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe and Apple; we do not store your full card details.
  • Usage and device data — how you interact with the app, and technical information such as device type and app version, used to keep Settle working and improve it.
  • Location data — with your permission, the app uses your device location for weather on your home screen, worker clock-in, and setting a job-site location on the map.

How we use your information

To provide and operate Settle, process payments, send invoices and notifications on your behalf, provide support, improve the product, and meet our legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run Settle, including Supabase (hosting, database, and authentication), Stripe (payments), Apple (App Store subscriptions), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI features), Intuit QuickBooks (accounting sync, if you connect it), Crisp (in-app support chat), and Open-Meteo (weather). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.

Your customers' data

Information you enter about your own clients and workers belongs to you. You are responsible for having the right to provide it, and we process it on your behalf to deliver the service.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely with our hosting provider Supabase, in its Sydney region (AWS ap-southeast-2). We use reasonable technical measures to protect it, though no system is completely secure.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at settleapp.help@gmail.com. This policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles.

Children

Settle is intended for business use and not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post any changes on this page with a revised date.
